The perks of visiting my parents.
Amazing five course dinner at the Runcible Spoon with loads of lovely friends. The teaser (1st course, pictured) was mushroom pate.
Tea and scones today at the Barley Wood Walled Garden with @northwestnosh, before putting its inspiration into action on the lottie.
Spelt drop scones and bacon at Hugh’s @bristolcanteen for breakfast.
Leaving do in fancy surroundings. Jamie’s Italian, King Street, Manchester.
Two of my favourite creatures.
Productive day on the allotment. Garlic (the alliums on the left), broad beans (under the net), and new potatoes (in the bottom bed) finally in. Started to fill one of the large raised beds with compost too. Currant bushes starting to bud. No sign at all of the Jerusalem artichokes coming up, I wonder if they’ve just rotted in the ground…
The entirety of this year’s brocolli harvest. Was late getting the allotment at the end of the growing season last year, so it was always a bit optimistic putting then in!
Shopping with my mam is so much fun!
Beautiful blue sky over @Sustrans @TwoTunnelsBath event. Great turn out, though that means the queues for food are epic… (at Bloomfield Rd Open Space)
